This policy covers the Deadlanes mobile game and its game services.

What we collect

Account data. Your email address and a password (stored by our authentication provider, Supabase, as a salted hash — we never see or store your plaintext password). Your player id is a random identifier; your in-game callsign is chosen by you and visible to other players.

Gameplay data. Game state your play produces: ships, inventory, position, combat outcomes, progression, reputation, guild membership, and aggregate telemetry used for game balance (for example turn usage and tutorial completion). This is the game — a persistent multiplayer world can't run without it.

User content. Guild chat messages, guild names/descriptions, ship names, and feedback reports you file in-app. Chat is visible to your guild; reported messages are visible to our moderators.

Purchases. In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play — we never receive your payment details. We store the platform's transaction identifier and the entitlement it granted, to deliver and restore your purchases.

Push tokens. If you enable notifications, a device push token (via Expo's push service) so the game can tell you what happened overnight.

Diagnostics. If crash reporting is enabled in your build, crash logs and device model/OS version go to Sentry to fix bugs. These are configured to exclude request contents, authentication tokens, and IP-based profiling. No advertising identifiers, no location, no contacts, no ads, ever.

What we do with it

Run the game, deliver purchases, stop cheating and abuse, moderate chat, fix crashes, and tune game balance from aggregates. We do not sell personal data, share it for advertising, or use it for anything unrelated to running Deadlanes.

Who touches it

Infrastructure subprocessors only: Supabase (database + authentication), Fly.io (game servers), Expo (push delivery), Sentry (crash reports, when enabled), Apple/Google (payments). Each receives only what its role requires.

Retention & deletion

Event and action logs are pruned after ~90 days. Everything else lives as long as your account. Delete your account in-app (Profile → Overview → ACCOUNT → DELETE ACCOUNT): your authentication record, player data, ships, inventory, knowledge, chat authorship, push tokens, and server-side purchase entitlements are permanently removed. Apple/Google retain their own transaction records under their policies. Aggregated, de-identified statistics (e.g. "day-3 retention") survive because they no longer describe you. You can also request deletion or a copy of your data by email.

Children

Deadlanes is not directed at children under 13 (or the higher minimum age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child is playing, contact us and we'll delete the account.

Your rights

Depending on your region (GDPR/CCPA and similar): access, correction, deletion, portability, and objection. Exercise them by email or via the in-app deletion path. We don't discriminate for exercising them.

Changes

We'll post changes here and note material ones in-game. Continued play after a change is acceptance.
